Who buys this type of card?
Anyone who needs to save money on prescription drugs, eyewear and contact lenses, and dental procedures, but doesn't have coverage, has limits on coverage or has a high deductible plan. Most people fall into this category. Instead of asking for an outright donation from area businesses, offer one card for every $15 donated - They'll love it!
How much do the cards cost?
The more you buy, the less the cards cost:
less than 1000 cards - $9.00 per card
1000+ cards - $7.50 per card plus a customized logo for FREE
What is your minimum order?
50 cards
How do we pay?
Credit cards, checks and money orders and bank drafts are all accepted.
When do we pay?
A deposit of 20% is due upon placing the order. The balance is due upon receipt of the cards without credit approval or within 30 days of receipt if credit has been approved.
How long does it take to receive our cards?
If there is no custom logo, cards are shipped within 2 weeks, often sooner.
Are we able to return unused cards?
Yes, there is a $1 restocking fee per card. However, if you place a future order with us, we will credit the restocking fee towards your next order, up to the amount of the future order. For example, let’s say you were to purchase 750 cards and return 200 cards. You would receive a refund for the purchase price of the 200 cards, less the $200 restocking fee. If you later purchase 500 cards, we would credit you the entire $200. If you later purchase only 100 cards, then we would credit you $100 toward your purchase price. Credits cannot be used toward down payments.
How long should our sale last?
Two to three weeks is optimal. No other sale should go on at the same time.
How does the card work?
The card will already be active upon shipping, so no enrollment is necessary, but an expiration date needs to be written on the card in permanent ink.
The cardholder needs to use the card at participating providers and present the card to receive a discount. Prescription discounts vary from drug to drug, but average about 20% off retail. There is a price chart for eyewear that gives the price the cardholder will pay for specific items. Items not specified will be at a discount off retail. The cardholder is entitled to a 20% discount off the purchase price of a dental plan, but needs to enroll separately. There are several other health-related products that are also discounted through the card. A toll-free member services number is listed on the card to assist cardholders.
When does the card expire?
One year from the time it is issued. There is a space on the card for your organization to write in an expiration date. Do not fill this in until the card is sold. Cards with issued expiration dates cannot be returned for credit.
Why do we have to enroll separately for the dental plan?
The cardholder can choose from several fee-for-service plans. Our program allows them to view dental providers by specialty, zip code and plan, plus view fee schedules and other program details in one convenient location. Regardless of the plan they choose through our program, they will save 20% off the membership fees to join. They will be issued a separate card, and will be eligible for the discounted rate for as long as they keep their membership.
